Slate Roofing

Slate roofing is a premium roof covering that will differentiate any roof line. Very popular in other locales for the longevity aspect, slate can make your home stand out from the crowd. Slate roofing comes in a variety of colors and is an all natural product. The variations in color of the slate offer character to your roof. Slate has the weight of tile. If you wanted to install slate on a roof that currently has asphalt shingles, then an engineer would have to sign off on it, in order to get a permit.

In early 2017 we finished this slate roof in Bay Colony of Pelican Marsh. The product is Buckingham Black 3/8″, all 20 oz. copper flashings, over Certainteed SA CAP self adhered directly to the plywood.
