We are a small roofing company based in Naples, FL. We specialize in service oriented business in Naples, Golden Gate, Marco Island, Bonita Springs and Estero. Our crews work hourly and are able to work on just about any conventional roofing type. This includes asphalt shingles, tile roofing, metal roofing, flat roofs (mostly modified bitumen), shakes, slate, coatings, and repairs of all of these. We can do small repairs up to large multi-million dollar homes that call for commercial quality roofing installation.

Hello, I’m Tony Guarino, owner of Sunshine Roofing of SW FL, Inc. I have been in and around roofing since the late 80’s and became a licensed roofing contractor in 1994. I have always strived to do things to a higher standard and promote this within my company. Over the years I have learned much about roof coverings and what it takes to make them last. I have changed things over the years to better our installation methods.

Tony Guarino – Owner Operator – Started at Collier County Roofing in 1988(owned by Art Prewitt that started in the 1960’s and ended in 2009 or so). After working on the crew(s) for several years a light injury forced him to get out of roofing for a while. About a year later Hurricane Andrew (August 1992) came through and he was given an opportunity to lead crew(s), again at Collier County Roofing. This lasted until the end of 1993 and several months into 1994. In March of 1994 he moved over to Gulf Coast Roofing. After a short duration of a couple of months, the sometimes relentless construction industry had taken its toll on Tony’s roofing career. They say that many businesses are started, because something happens to someone and they change direction.

After inquiring at the county, they said that he could start down the road to becoming a licensed Roofing Contractor. So after the due process of jumping through all the required hoops, he officially got the letter from the State of Florida and became a Licensed Roofing Contractor in Collier County, FL in August of 1994.

In October 2000, he was able to acquire State Certified Roofing Contractor status. This allowed Sunshine Roofing of SW FL, Inc. to now work in Lee County, which did not (does not) offer a county license. Since then Tony has taken the position that quality is more important than quantity, with respect to roofing, and continues to practice this philosophy daily.
